This is the first article, and for now its job is to prove the machinery: a header built from the properties above, a lede that sits outside every chapter, and a body that uses the elements the style sheet promises.
First Chapter
Base styling only. No article stylesheet yet, so every rule on this page comes from tokens.css and global.css. The next chapter holds the pieces that are easiest to get wrong.
Second Chapter
This chapter has a figure: a long quote with its credit in the caption.
